Made a bee line to Selfridges. Have never been to a Selfridges 'beauty hall' before...... It was beauty heaven!!
Honed in on Bare Minerals as on the 7th August their new foundation 'Bareskin' was released exclusive to Selfridges and Bare Mineral Boutiques. Desperately wanted to try it out.
Came across this shop and I was extremely excited as the fresh lip-balms are difficult to get over here in the UK. My sister bought me the gift set for my birthday. Contained a lip scrub, lip treatment, rose and tulip lip-balms. Review will be coming up shortly on the blog...
Topshop Oxford Street - Beauty Mart
"All that's featured here is the cream of the crop - An expert edit of hero products from iconic beauty brands"
So here is what I picked up:
Weleda - Skin Food. A natural skin cream to nourish dry and dehydrated skin. Great for use on hands and elbows or any dry rough patches.
Weleda - Aknedoron. A treatment lotion containing essential oils to treat and help rid of spots. No harsh chemicals
Homeoplasmine - This multi purpose balm soothes irritated chapped lips. Goes on as a shiny balm and dries matte. Similar to Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream without the price tag or scent.
Embryolisse Concentrate - This french cult classic, is a soothing moisturiser that makes a great primer base for foundation as well as a lovely hydrating cream. Found in make-up artists kits, am very intrigued to try this one out!
Found a little chemist on Baker Street that stocked Bioderma as well as other french pharmacy items....
So I picked up the new Arnica cream Cicabio which came in handy as my overnight bag was far too heavy and it helped to soothe my sore, bruised shoulders. Need to learn to travel light or bring less make-up!!
